We could write a book Weekenders 19-22 March 2021 WEEKENDERS
Lovely healthy looking plants, Captain. Repotting cacti must be difficult - all those prickles! Bonsai trees are truly beautiful.
Well I bought loads of soil to top up my beds, a nice man put them in my car for me. Problem was he didn't come home and take them out again. I forgot how heavy soil is! I really did struggle to lift them from my boot to the garden. I needed help but had no one to ask. I will stick to compost next time!

7pm here and will be in bed in the next hour lol. End of Day 9 and had a few cravings today but only fleeting ones. Looking forward to another good nights sleep and waking up on Day 10 hangover free x
Well done Manta. I hope you get another good night’s sleep.
Thanks Kaily, yes even with a pair of thick leather gloves I usually get to remove a few spines the next day. The two on the right growing in the same pot are skinnier at the top because they grow from unrooted cuttings that arrived by post 6 months ago from 1200km away. Hopefully they will fatten out a bit.

CaptainHaddock I love your plants. I can imagine very awkward to repot
Manta, great stuff.
Kaily, times like this a robot would come in handy. In the 70’s it was thought robots would be a popular addition to most homes. I didn’t see hide or hair of mine.

Sao, I got a weather alert last night for heavy snow but it was clear skies and sunny all day yesterday and actually not too bad this morning either?!? I did clean out the multi fuel stove and lay the kindling and logs / filled the coal bucket etc ready to light if it got cold though just in case
