My psychiatrist doesn't prescribe it and when I asked him about the link between Antabuse and psychosis he sort of gave me a non answer. He's prescribing me acomprostate to help with the cravings instead.
If I start hearing voices again without Antabuse I'll just start taking it again. But I feel confident I won't drink without it right now.

I'm having some problems with agoraphobia right now. It's bad enough that I haven't been able to collect my welfare this week.
I'm going to go for a run and collect my welfare later this morning. At least I'm going to commit to a short run and if things get bad I'll turn back. The welfare can wait until tomorrow if necessary but I really need to get it then because of mothers day. And I have to collect my pills tomorrow.

It’s good to read your sober, FF!
With the agoraphobia, is it helpful for someone to accompany you? I’ve had periods of it, and having my husband take me or join me on a trip out of the house was helpful. Can a parent, sibling, or friend go with you?

Hi FF,
Your life has been a mess. If you reinstitute your Big Plan from last September, at least you can begin to learn how fun and interesting life can be as you start to work towards independence instead of being jacked around by those pleasure seeking appetites from chemically enhanced stupidity.

Hey FF, just checking in. I've been having some agoraphobia too, so I can relate. I'm so glad you're not drinking and I hope the damn voices are going away. What a nightmare. But don't make a bad situation worse ok buddy? Check in when you can. Was thinking about you when I logged on today.
I had agoraphobia too Freedom. It will settle down.
Hope you're are still on the sober trail. It's the key component to all our mental health here, Freedom. Impossible to sustain.
The drinking that is. We just get sicker. Now that is crazy.
Must be a month now?
