Caring for me
I wanted so badly to get blotto today.
And a member's thoughtful and insightful save me money, time, and regrets.
I need SR. Real bad, when I drink I escaping my pain - but for a fleeting moment.
Not drinking is caring for me, have to become my own hero I guess.

Yes, James, you really do have to save yourself. But, we are here for you. We know this is really hard.
Escaping the pain in your life by drinking will not help you, and I think you see that. Have faith that you are strong enough to deal with the pain and get through it. The alcohol wants you to believe that you need it, but you don't.
