Day 3 .. still in withdrawal - feel dreadful !

It’s Day 3 and I feel worse than yesterday ! I don’t think my body could take another withdrawal !
i printed out photos of the carnage in my bedroom at the end of my binge ( bottles, junk food everywhere) as a warning to never do it again as it ALWAYS ends up this way these days ...
im going to stick close to SR .. thanks for the support !

Yes, you can get through this day. It will get better and you never have to do this again.

Rest as much as you can and eat well. Try to get out and have a little exercise/fresh air and just hang on.

Sending lots of positive vibes! I hope the WD symptoms subside soon. Rest lots and stay hydrated!

Things start to round out and settle down by day four and you are almost there! Just keep hanging in there. Move forward, even if by inches. It will be worth it and you never have to experience or feel this way again! I remember this time vividly and I ain't going back! You can do it too!

Agreed lots of rest and stay hydrated. If you're feel restless try working on a journal about how you are feeling to look back on. Always good to have a plan when the clouds clear. You will get past today just stay sober and the sun will be shinning my friend. Take care

Yeah, my worst too. It will get better ICDT. Take it hour by hour if you have to and I agree on the suggestion to eat well, rest, and get out for a walk if you can.

Hang in there..don't waste your effort now! I used to break those kinds of days into 15 minute segments. Hours just seemed to long. Eat, drink gatorade and hot showers is what got me through. Best wishes!

Living a happy sober life is worth getting through the withdrawal.
Alcohol is robbing you of your soul.
Tell it to **** off.
