Just thanks
Just thanks
Had some rough days lately and when I feel like I have no one to share with I come here. So thanks to all of you. The internet for all of its warts has allowed me grow and recover with you and has kept me in touch with the fellowship of AA. So thank you to the Moderators and thanks to all of you drunks and junkies. We’re doing it. Some of us slowly, some of quickly, but we’re doing it together. Gratitude.
*drunks and junkies was tongue in cheek by the way

I look for you too Be123, and I can’t remember why either. But on SR, because I’ve been around for a while and gone out, we get classes of folks (freshman, sophomore) and I consider us in the same class. Hopefully we graduate! Lol

Love ya. Keep up the Joyous, Grateful Toil on the Road to Happy Destiny.
When you go down the rabbit hole BABM, SR is less for it. You are such a great presence on here and really help others imho. SR is indeed an embarrassment of riches for us drunks and junkies. I'm not afraid of those terms because they are reminders of how serious these issues are that we all struggle to deal with.
An "embarrassment of riches" is right Surrendered.
You are an important part of this forum BABM. Drunks and junkies can make for good company so long as we're not drinking. Alcohol and other drugs, they're all the same to me.
I don't know what I would do if I were not sober.
Thanks BABM. You get better by the day.

I'm glad you are able to come here and share when things are rough, BABM. Learning to work through those angers, fears and resentments truly was very hard work for me. Here I thought I'd stop drinking and other things would sort of take care of themselves. Not so, right?
But it's all good now. Growing into a better version of myself is a pretty good feeling even if it doesn't always feel good.
