1000 days!

How can this be?! 1000 days sober. I know for folks struggling- this is like 1000 years. At the end of my drinking career, 1000 seconds was a tall order. In the last 5 or so years of drinking, I probably didn’t have more that 5 sober days total.
A minute at a time, an hour at a time, now one day at a time. As the Promises say- I have become neutral to drinking- not fighting it- and my life is beyond anything I could have expected.
mid you are struggling- stay with it- it gets better! And once you get some time behind you- you will be amazed at how much better EVERYTHING gets!

That is incredible. A THOUSAND days. Thanks so much for posting KE. There are, as always, folks here struggling in early sobriety. Having you long haulers come on here and post really helps all of us so much.
