Positive Second Day.
Feeling good on my second day, today is one of my regular drinking days and I have no desire right now to do so. I feel a little sluggish but certainly better than hungover. I'm at a place where it's not just something I have to do (although it certainly is that as well) but something I want to do as well. Maybe when the evening crawls in I'll feel different, but right now I have no desire to drink, and I'm actually looking forward to just having a relaxing sober night.
That's great to hear and good job on Day 2.
I would just give a word of caution that the feeling you have today may not last through the next days or weeks. So, it's a good idea to be prepared how to manage if your feelings change.

"Wednesdays used to be one of my regular drinking days"
I think it helps confirm to the brain that drinking is in the past 👍

Yeah I'm fully expecting things to get tougher, but enjoying myself for now. Absolutely agree with your point about how much time in the day there is, I'm only just realising now that I have so much more breathing room than waiting for my work/drink/hangover routine. It's not a healthy way to live from a phychological perspective as much as it is physical.

This may seem silly or picky, but it's something that I practised and has helped me. By changing the language above you may help your brain out. For example:
"Wednesdays used to be one of my regular drinking days"
I think it helps confirm to the brain that drinking is in the past 👍

In case anyone was wondering I plan on spending my spare time today reading the immortal hulk, it's a version of the hulk where the monster only comes out at night. Weird...almost like I relate to it on some level.
