Something positive!
5 days sober btw! Still hanging in there!
Talking to my dad and he's like "ya look like you're losing some weight there kiddo"
I lose weight quick so no surprise. He tells it like it is he's a military guy so I know its the truth 😄😁 lol
No alcohol for 5 days and already people can see a difference! I feel so confident!

Awesome! I took a selfie on day one and periodically thereafter. The difference in how I look from day 1 vs day 300 is unreal. I just took a look at day 1 when I read your post...alcohol can kiss my a$$.
Go you!

That's great!!! Amazing to see how quickly stopping alcohol can change you for the better. I've stopped so many times and just didn't take the time to see how it changed me in positive ways before I went right back to it. Now it's just different. I feel more confident, I'm listening to people and how they see changes in me. It's a hell of a feeling I must say!
Congrats on the hanging in Va2. You'll find it to be worth it as the days mount and self belief builds.
Are you going to seek support outside of here? Therapist? AA? Ballroom dancing?
Your Dad sounds like a good man, you got lucky with good dad.
I don't know if you wanted to lose weight, but if you did you're reaping one of the benefits of sobriety already.
Good to see you posting.
Keep hanging in.

I'm actually excited about it! I cant wait to get out there and actually talk at the meetings and stuff and getting my medallions. I even found an AA medallion holder display case online I wanna get so I can hang it on the wall when I get my medallions ☺
