Bim, yeah at 1.07pm all went well. Had the AstraZeneca vaccine. Had a sore arm since but bearable and I had a funny headache yesterday which didn’t stay round long. Well organised. I was impressed with my doctor’s surgery.

I still have a three-week-out appointment date.

We'll see how it goes. My healthcare system has stopped taking new appointments. I think at this point it's about production, cooling and allocation. In the States the rollout may be more problematic as it involves a Federal and State allocation, a very tricksy freezing system and then State and Private medical distribution infrastructure. It seems pretty complicated and I hope everyone keeps their shoulder to the wheel right now as we try to beat this thing. I say send it to me directly, I'm not adverse to sticking myself.

Good luck to you too Bim

He is missing CK. Think we need to post this on some trees (or threads).

If found please return to the Weekenders.

Hey guys hope everyone is doing well. All good here. Nice Sunday in the Bay Area. Walking about a farmers market now then some nice coffee. Maybe read this afternoon. I read 35 books in 2020. Prior to that the most I read in a year was one. I set a goal and found a hobby I liked besides drinking. Never thought that was possible lol. Here's to 40 books in 2021!

Hi All;
Having a quiet Sunday with green tea and marathon petting of my Australian “Lap Sitter” Cattledog. We had a hike in the park with her Chiweenie partner-in-crime. I should be working, but enjoying my canine company too much to start right now

Sao, thinking of you!

What a situation you and Mesapup were in. Its so good everyone is safe. Mesapup will eventually get the hang of travel. Thanks for sharing a pic of him. He is quite the handsome little one, right?
Shorter trips. Check.

CK, yeah, I’ll need another dose of the AstraZeneca. I think it’ll be 12 weeks before the next part.

Bim, it would be great if they would give those willing an injection to do themselves.

My cousin messaged me last night. She got a call from her doctors surgery in the afternoon asking her to come to the surgery at teatime for her and her husband to have the jab. Short notice, but we’d all be prepared to do that I’m sure. She and her husband had the Pfizer vaccine and I wonder because of the storage of it and usage within a certain time they were ringing their patients to use it up.

MesaMan posted on the 9th January Sao's just fine, as of yesterday. Lockdown 'stuff', and general Life.

I hope @saoutchik is keeping well. You’re missed.

Congratulations on your covid jab Mags, it must be a huge relief to you. Not too long for you either Bim.

I am hoping when my times comes that I get the Pfizer jab, not that we can choose, but if we could that would be my preference.

Daisy doesn't like the car either, if I let her she would travel right under the front passenger seat but its not ideal. She trembles. I think with her it is because of her bad past and being shut in a dark under stair cupboard for 8 hours at a time . We do little and often, time will improve and heal.

Now she spends a lot of time emptying the toy box over and over again.

Lovely picture Kaily!

I'm in a bit of a flap. The decorator is coming this morning and I've been rushing around this morning packing things away to make it easier to move things around. I just wish it was a fortnight's time and all this was over with... I'm feeling very unsettled at the moment and am not looking forward to the disruption that the next two weeks will bring. I just like having my house to myself!

I can relate Robbie, I don't like anything that rattles my routine. It will be worth it in the end.

Last time I decorated I moved all my furniture every morning and moved it back every evening as I couldn't relax with everything out of place. Needless to say the whole thing took months as more time was spent moving furniture than actually painting. Its only now that I think back that I realise how ridiculous it was.

Kaily aww, Daisy’s so cute

Robbie, I hate having workers in my home. Make em plenty of cuppas if you’re able to with covid, they’ll be happy as Larry and have it done in no time. Don’t forget to breathe.

Kaily yikes that must’ve been a pain for you! Mind you at least your furniture went to visit other parts of your home for a while.

I’m glad you got your vaccine Mags.
I hope yours happens without any hiccups too Bim.

Manta how’s your new job?
I had my first proper day at work today after finishing the training. I had a good day and am really enjoying it.
I really think this is just the fresh start I need to get my head in a happier place.
