I am so grateful to find this site-it has been incredibly therapeutic. I am so use to being the rock for others that I’ve learned to internally deal and repress negative emotions and experiences in my life (hence the alcohol use). This site has been a safe space for me to open up about sorrow, pains, and shortcomings which I typically never do. With that being said, thank you to all for providing this safe place and support during my early days of sobriety.

This site is great Gus. I credit the site, and you all, for being one of the main reasons I was able to get sober and stay sober. SR is an embarrassment of riches for those in need of some support.

Gus, this is a great site for support. There's things I've posted here which I wouldn't mention to people in real life so like yourself I feel it is a safe space for me. Hopefully being able to open up here at SR will help with your sobriety.

Agree. I figure I would have been fired by now if my boss read or knew about how crazy I felt while getting to this stage of my never drinking again lifestyle.
