I can't seem to post anymore, does this have to do with that issue?

Dee74 01-25-2021 05:05 PM

Things seem to be back to normal now Kev.
Not sure what the issue was, but it fixed itself.

There is another ongoing problem with double posts - when someone goes to post it takes so long, they post again...we end up with 2 posts, or more.

Try and be patient if you can guys - posts are going through as far as I can see but they can hang for a while before they do.

I just now kept getting an error message when I hit 'post reply' so I'd go back and click it again. Triple posted! :dee I should be more patient but thought it was just an error, didn't realize it was posting each time.

Dee74 01-30-2021 11:12 PM

I think I got them all but if I missed any I'll get to them as I move through new posts later tonight.

Cause is unknown but the techs will have gotten a message.

When this happens our posts do go through, just very slowly....so try and resist the urge to post them again and again and again. Refreshing the page might be a better idea.

in the unlikely event you do lose a post by refreshing, you should be able to use the 'restore auto saved content' button at the bottom of the post.

Haha yeah it really isn't! I was already laughing when Dee said to resist the urge to try doing something again and again and again when it doesn't seem to work. I feel like that's what brought all of us to this forum :lmao
