I Think I'm Depressed
I've dropped off FB too. I thought it was pretty stupid to start, but was cajoled by others to join. I regret it. Difficult to deactivate as well. They don't make it easy. Not all that computer savvy, maybe it's just me?
I was finding it made me anxious, depressed.
Hope you are continuing to improve John.

Thanks to all who have replied, and thanks in advance to all who will reply. Your words help me more than you know. I have been researching depression and anxiety in order to learn ways to cope. There's a lot of helpful information out there. Here are 2 articles I found particularly helpful - the second link was the most detailed and profound:

I read your post.
So, what exactly in your post can you control or change? It seems to me that the answer is, "not a thing".
AA members frequently say the serenity prayer, which goes something like this . . .
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
You might want to consider going to an AA meeting and sharing what you put in your post.
