Hello Folks.

Thought I would say Hello to all the fine folks on this site. I am newly signed on but have been lurking here for a couple of years. Some of the stories here are inspiring and helpful for a lot of people that aren't a member as well as a lot that are. Happy to say thank you for being here.

Hello djjack, Welcome to SR. I found SR after quitting drinking for 3 months. It was very helpful, as I was feeling alone, sad and frustrated. I read every day, joined the new monthly group, and found all of the "positives" I could to help me feel better and stay sober. I found, through SR, that I was "worth" taking care of myself. I needed peace in my life, which most certainly included sobriety. Stay close. Peace to you.
