Back on the wagon Time to get back on the wagon! It seems that the periods I go without sobriety keep getting longer and longer. This last time was a year and a half before I was able to pull myself out from underneath it. On the 30th of December I quit my drug of choice and two days ago I managed to get off of alcohol. I'm so grateful for this online forum and also for the availability of zoom meetings now. I'm doing whatever it takes this time including traveling an hour and a half each way to meetings! i found my sponsor through this website and he's been an absolute gem. I wish you all the best, let's keep it going! One day at a time! <3 Art |
Welcome back Art :) D |
So good to see you, Art. I once decided to have 'just a glass of wine' & went back out for 7 yrs. Nearly died that time. We can't afford to keep playing with it. Congratulations for making this decision. Some are never able to. |
Good Work, Art. You are taking action and reclaiming your life. Keep moving forward! |
Welcome Art! It takes some of us several tries.. I had more than 3 years and threw it away in 2017 - have struggled to put more than a few months together since then. This site was good to me when I quit before so I'm back too. |
Welcome back, Art. |
Knowing about this place is half the battle. This place saved my life. Thanks. |
Gratitude Thank you all for sharing your experience, strength, and hope. Sober for life. One day at a time. 2 days down. |
