When it comes to anxiety after not drinking for a while/or just quiting drinking, i just found that this site gives me alot of support that decreases anxiety. We're all here for you, don't let the anxiety get to you and remember that the longer you go without it, the better you will feel

Friday morning. One more to go for my first week back at work. Past the worst of the withdrawals I think.
Gking to rest up this weekend and start putting thought into building this sober life I know I deserve. Thanks for all the replies. It has given me good direction to start my days.
I don't want to drink, be a drunk and only worry about where my next drink is coming from anymore.

Going good thanks vik. Well not drinking anyway. I read through my previous posts here yesterday, it was roughly 3 years ago since I first came to this site. It is an invaluable asset to me the whole time. I learnt that it has been 3.5 years since I have been addressing my inability to control my drinking. I don't even want to imagine where I would be if I just ignored my problem and let it run its course.
Thanks for the check in vik, I hope things are going well for you.
