Well done on 6 months, secretchord!
If I recall, months 7-12 of sobriety brought their own challenges, like the novelty of sobriety was wearing off and I was learning to live sober. Some big life things happened (moving countries, coming home) and, although I never thought of falling into drinking again, it was constantly occurring to me that THIS is what it's like to face life without drinking. It's certainly OK, it's doable for sure, but it was kind of exhilarating, confronting and encouraging, all at the same time.
Stay close to us ... it gets better and better.

Half a year is fantastic. Keep going, it gets better a little at a time. Up and down sometimes, but it will get better.
