I've once struggled just like you with alcohol/drugs. My recovery modality was the yo-yo method for many years. In and out of recovery, it never seemed to end. It took a huge recovery toolbox and a practice of such tools to achieve a good level of wellness. Recovery tools like participating here with SR members is a wonderful recovery practice to do.
I hope you can keep working towards your goal of not drinking, because you a worthy of a better life free from alcohol.
