Day #1
 

Last night I had a really rough evening. I drank way more than usual which has been a lot lately and woke up with regrets for what I said and did. I realized today I need to make a change and hang up the wine. I'm not sure who I've become lately.

So here's my day #1 I'm at work drinking Pepsi reading posts. Today was a struggle for sure but I know in time I'll be OK with support and reading along here.

I'm building a plan to stay busy and active. Today I admitted to my SO that I'm an alcoholic and there was total support. I did not do that last time in the spring.

I'm very anxious today but I know I cannot drink anymore. I have to stop.

Thanks, Steely! As rough as it was this is the first NYE I watched the ball drop and wasn't wasted in YEARS. I'm definitely on the struggle bus so I'm just going to keep reading on.
