Happy Sober New Year All!
Firstly, a huge thank you to this community for helping me in a time of need. I'm sober because of the help people gave me here, and because of my own determination to stop poisoning myself.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year! We'll celebrate sobriety together.
Peace. Love. Blessings.

Great post going into the new year. Great reminder and mindset for me to follow.
This place saved me and keeps me in the right mind to not relapse.
It is like AA, in a way, because the constant flow of new folks and relapsed folks keeps everyone's memory of how bad it was and how bad it could be fresh.
The stories of the days of being in hell don't seem to weigh as heavily as someone that is currently suffering from addiction and the desire to quite.
Folks that are actively addicted that don't want to quite only cause me temptation. It's the folks going through the journey out of addition, the first few days and weeks, that seem to help me stay sober the most.
Here's to a better year than 2020. This has been the worst year of my life from a stress point of view, and I was very blessed compared to millions because I didn't lose my job or a loved one due to covid.
Who knows what the future holds, so me and my family are trying harder to make the best we can out of each day.
Love love love.
Thanks.

Happy sober New Year to all of you. I'm still waiting for the new year to get here, got another almost 3 hours to go. Glad I was sober this year. Living thru the pandemic would have been so much worse, and more miserable, had I been drinking. This is my 12th sober NYE and I love waking up the first day of a new year feeling good.
