Bim, that was pretty much my life too when I drank. I think we can all recognise ourselves in most situations from drinking.

I watched a good drone display for the Hogmanay in Scotland on YouTube , not sure how to post it though.

Its a good feeling being sober.

Happy New Year, weekenders - I believe every time zone stepped into 2021 by this time.

It's so good to wake up sober, with a clear head and even certain excitement about the day and the year to come.

I love the morning of January 1st - quiet, peaceful, and few people in the street.

I am happy to report that 2021 is looking good from late Friday afternoon in Australia. Closing out my day 7 (one week!) of sobriety

and feeling pretty darned good!!
