A poem from the bottom
A poem from the bottom
I'm down the hall.
Do you know I'm here
Can you feel me
I'm not really here
You can't see me
Silent screaming
So very lowd
All alone
In a crowd
Why is the ringing
In my ears
Screaming so loud
All my fears
I look at my face
Not a happy place
I look in my mind
Such a scary place
If you know me
Run away
You don't know me
I don't play
You say go straight
I turn left
Right off a cliff
I have nothing left
I see the ground below me
Head first
I can't wait to be
A part of the Earth
One inch to go
I see it all
The beauty the wonder
The Angels call
It's just me
I'm down the hall
Do you know I'm here
Can you feel me
I'm not really here
You can't see me
Silent screaming
So very lowd
All alone
In a crowd
Why is the ringing
In my ears
Screaming so loud
All my fears

my favorite thing about poems from the bottom is that they signify the crying out of our true soul's nature.
We don't want the bottom.
We want the light.
The poems from the bottom are our voices calling out for the light, and if we follow those voices and do the work.... we leave the bottom behind. forever.
Keep up the sharing. Lift yourself up.
The light awaits.

I was literally in my room down the hall listening to voices and laughter. My heart was screaming out while my mind was spinning out of control. I was in a dark place and there are reasons for that. Primarily me. I don't know why but I just started typing. Later I thought I would share it here in case anyone could relate. You are right FreeOwl. I didn't want to be there and I never want to go back. I want to be in the light.
I don't understand how or why but I have hope today.

Do you have hope today?
I hope so.
Yes. I just have to stay out of my head. I'm not in the place today. I found an AA Zoom meeting that is just amazing. I feel so v accepted there. I am actually becoming a part of a group of amazing people. I am very grateful God put them in my life.
keep at it, you've got this.
