Here I am again, day one. I have had 8 day “one” in the last month and a half. I found this forum today and am going to start again. I can go about 3-4 days and then boom! My DA stops and buys booze. I work from home, so I haven’t left the house since Sunday (yep drank that night) So I was doing good, then I had to go get groceries. If I didn’t have to leave the house I’d be fine. I felt like such a loser when I woke up this morning. Then I found this forum. (Ok I still feel like a loser, but now have a glimmer of hope) I’m going to start again today.

Well done on finding this forum. It's a literal life saver and full of incredible people who will offer you amazing support. You can do this. Keep posting - staying active on here and making a habit to post every day is a really good start to any sobriety plan.

This truly is an amazing place with amazing people. I have also had many many...many day ones. My most recent day one was 12 days ago and I’ve stuck to it. Alcohol finally just made me sick to the core to even think about, and I was drinking everyday for the last 12 or so years. Truly stick to being clean, happy, healthy, and sober ☺️
