Enough said. He came home, packed a bag and left.

I have thought about doing that fairly recently.

Prayers.

So, things should be pretty pleasant for you until he (your AH) comes back.

I'm sorry BTG.
some of us, like me, needed that bad thing to happen - whatever it was - before we realise just how close we are to destruction.

The good news is hundreds of people, people just like you, have turned things around and gotten and stayed sober.

Let this be a beginning and not an end.
You can do this.

I don't know how i feel. This year has just been relentless, my fault, his fault. Nobody's fault. He's back. But no open conversation. He said he's only here cause he had no other option. He is a typical self centered alcoholic that we all become as the disease takes hold of us. I guess, i need to focus on me and my sobriety and my son. One day at a time. I mean i felt so good not drinking, however short of time that was. I was a better person, a better mother. So here's to today. If i could just quit crying and get it together! Omg I'm wallowing in my own self pity and i should be counting my blessing, cause others have it worse. It can always be worse.

Hi BTG,
Glad your posting. Is the alcohol out of your system yet?

You said it Backtogood! If you drink you'll feel worse and you'll be a less caring person and a poorer mother. I wouldn't drink to that.

Time for the real you to shine.

no, I'm sure there is some in my system. I'm wallowing in my own self pity. But I'm not consuming anymore.

I hope that things work out for the best for you and your family. And, I'm so glad that you're not drinking.
