The Lengths That We Got to make Amends
When you are new, please remember this passage
" Reminding ourselves that we have decided to go to any lengths to find a spiritual experience, we ask that we be given strength and direction to do the right thing, no matter what the personal consequences may be. We may lose our position or reputation or face jail, but we are willing. We have to be. We must not shrink at anything."
That is the process that you will have to be willing to make amends. Now, the consequences are usually do not require that drastic of consequences. But we have to show the willingness to do so.
For me, it was willing to my mom and listening what she have to say and followed her direction no matter how uncomfortable was, because it was her that my drinking affected the most.
