Alternative Xmas food preparations

Does anyone have any delicious alternatives to the usual booze laced treats for Christmas they could share?

I'd like some ideas too. I want a booze free Christmas but still want some tasty treats at Christmas.

Nigella Lawson has some nice recipes with clementines and brown sugar as key ingredients and also breakfast cranberry muffins... Quite hard finding Christmassy puddings without cognac or sherry though.

I'm not sure what booze laced treats are....we usually just have cookies, bits and bites, gingerbread, and then a big Christmas meal. However I generally work on Christmas and boxing day so I suppose it's easier for me to say no to drinks.

I always get a supply of Ringtons chocolate Brazil nut biscuits at Christmas. They’re amazing, as well as their double chocolate biscuits too.

There are Christmas puddings and Christmas cakes out there af, if you want them.

I love a big breakfast on Christmas morning with pancakes, eggs and bacon and cinnamon rolls with gooey icing! Loads of coffee with milk for me and hot chocolate for the boys.

I am all about the buche de noel, which we pick up from a French bakery near our house. It’s sponge cake with chocolate filling, and it’s to die for. (We’ll eat other stuff too, but who cares about that.)
