300 days!
300 days!
Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry I'm not around here much. Life has been so busy and I've started a new job, finally escaping from my toxic workplace. Things are going pretty well.
I just realised that today is day 301 alcohol free. Guys, I can't believe it! I had so many day ones, I thought I'd never make it but here I am, heading towards a whole year of sobriety and I'm so glad I did it.
Those of you struggling, keep going. I promise it's worth it.
I'm gonna make a real effort to stick around here and join in a bit more.

I think it's natural for some people to pull away from the boards as their life improves. This is what we should all want for each other. It's like we're a family raising children, we teach each other to walk, to talk, to live, then we send you out to the world. We like to hear from you, but more importantly, you have to keep doing things that help you grow. Sobriety isn't my only goal. I want to grow and I learn more and more about how to live here. But again, as we get more healthy we need that community input less and less.
Congrats AK, very proud of you.
