Welcome Stonecold! You're in a great place. Post whatever you like, don't worry about triggers and etc....we've all been there and we're all here working through it.
It gets SOOO much better. You're still in the physical part of it. Once you get 2 weeks in your body should feel remarkably better and you can start working on the mental reasons that you did drink. Read as much as you can. Post as much as you can.
You got this!

Welcome! I used to hear, "You sound like you are in a good place," so much it made me sick, but................ It is my belief after some time with this that we are all "just winging it." I have also found that my wings have gotten stronger and that I can sometimes soar and sometimes glide. Does not feel like I am just beating the air very often anymore. So hang around and keep on winging it. You will pick some things up that will make the journey easier.
Huge welcome stonecold.
You will never regret getting sober.,,mightn't feel like it now, but definitely the case. Ten months for me, and so much better mentally. Physically too.
My former husband does not capitalise, and uses a pencil to write. Before that, it was a green biro. Not using capitals does have something to say for itself.

There's a lot of information here on SR, and elsewhere on the web, that can help you make it different this time. And support -- we're here to support you. Glad you're here!
