65 days!

Just wanted to check in... Super happy my days are getting up there.... if you read my last post about the surgery I did have the surgery a few hours ago and I am pretty loopy in the hospital had gastric bypass... I will be bored in this hospital bed for 2 more days I'm sure I will popping back in

Sounds like the surgery went okay. Giving up drinking and changing your eating habits all at the same time sounds brutal I can. What do you do to self-soothe when life gets rough? . . . . hmm . . . anyone who can answer this question, please do. I struggle with this myself.

Congratulations on your sober time! And the surgery. I hope that recovery goes smoothly. Do check back in. There isn’t much else to do in the hospital.

Congrats on 65 days! All of our experiences are different but as soon as I hit 10 weeks things really changed for me...and the days and weeks have flown by (in a good way) since then.
