Rock Bottom June12, 2019

I have been dealing with alcohol as a problem in my life for over 40 years. I have allowed it in my marriage for too long and last year God let me know that the only way to stop the Out of Control in my husbands life was to take charge of me ... to Stop it in my own life. So that's what I have done! Or that is what I ask Him to Do in me. That's where I am! I see glimpses of results in my family here a year and 4 months later.I am sober for that long now and I am Praying and Believing God to have alcohol completely removed ... I now go one day and sometimes Five minutes at a time. God is Good!

Congrats. Your post is inspiring. I agree that things seem to work out much better since quitting being a drunk.

I find my interactions with 90% of the folks in my day go so much better.

Especially, with my wife and son.

Thanks.
