Good morning weekenderinos. Bucketing down with rain here but I need to head out. I am taking groceries to a friend who is having chemo and can't leave her house except for hospital visits. We are also going to make a test scarecrow for Halloween. On Halloween itself we might sit on the front porch and throw candy to kids. Maybe some kind of slingshot apparatus lol.

It is 2 o'clock in the morning and there is a party going on in the back garden next door. They are getting louder and louder, taking those gas canister things, drinking and keeping me awake. My bedroom is at the back.

I turned my lights on and let Alfie out to bark, to let them know I'm up without confrontation but they don't care.

And there is more than six so they breaking the law! Too scared of repercussions to report it.

Patcha, good of you to help a friend. . A scarecrow sounds fun for Halloween.

Bim, good idea to turn your phone off at night. I’ve had mine about 6 years now and seemed to need charging more regularly, not keeping its charge. When I looked at the battery health it said service. Then advised to renew battery.

It’s Sunday afternoon and I’ve just got home. I went out for a drive and then a walk in the sunshine to ward off the AV and I’m feeling pretty relaxed now

I have been somewhat fascinated by the Dahab Blue Hole and once spent an entire weekend reading up on it. To all those who have it on their diving bucket lists but are looking for a bit of a challenge, here is a clip of New Zealand’s William Trubridge demonstrating how to free dive the famous arch. Apologies for the quality, but I couldn’t find an HD version. Still think it’s worth a look.

Greetings, Weekenders. Another great title, What About Bob! Funny thing, I heard a podcast the other day with Uma Thurman's dad who is a famous scholar specializing in Tibetan Buddhism and he told a story about meeting Bill Murray and saying "Baby steps!" to him, and how much he loved that movie.

Kaily, do you have any friends with an air boat?

I don't know what an air boat is but I do have a headache! Been resting most of the day apart from a walk thanks to the selfish neighbours.

The diver made me feel slightly uncomfortable, he was incredible, but it reminded me of not being able to breathe. Scary.

Well my AV is quiet (thankfully) and I have been really good not having had any sweet treats for at least a couple of months ... until today. I decided to take a shortcut home from my walk that takes me past local bakery, my sugar av perked up, before I know it I am on the same side of the road as the bakery because its too sunny on the other side. Then I am discussing with myself that I will just look as I go past, if they don't have my favourite I will walk on by. Boom cake in hand being rushed home for greedy consumption. Now of course I realise what I have been missing and want more.

Salad and fruit is just not cutting it now! Ha ha could be worse...
