250 Days

Well I made it to 250 days sober.
Its getting easier, the thoughts of drinking are less frequent. Next stop, 300 days.

I agree with a previous poster. The next stop is 251 sober days, and then after that 252. One day at a time is the way to do this.

I've done a year off and then a number of 3 month and 6 month "dextox" runs and until I finally got my **** straight. It always amazes me, when realizing nothing just gets better living a life of sobriety. Yet having nothing but extra time otherwise spent partying and recovering leads to a series of good decisions that add up and improves your life and relationships. I haven't had a drink in so long these days, I stopped counting, no longer miss it and do better thinking it's not that I can't drink, I just don't drink and better without it. Congratulations on making 250 days, that's a big deal and no doubt you are doing much better all around. Keep it going, great things ahead.

250 days. I'm happy for you. I remember when you first showed up. I knew you were struggling a bit, but I had a feeling you would make it. Just out of curiosity, how are you feeling about your abstinence now? How is it different than 6 months ago? Are you needing to change any strategies?
