2 years 🙂

I cannot believe I have been sober for almost 2 years! I do not recall the exact date that I went to detox for the first, and hopefully last, time, but it was definitely in the beginning of September 2018. Every few months I re-read the posts I created when in the depths of literal he**. Bringing myself back to that time just solidifies that stopping drinking was the best decision I have ever made.
I just want to let people in the early early stages know that it can and will get better....as long as you don't drink. Although I don't post often at all, this website has been an instrumental part of my journey, so thank you all for everything you have done to help me along 😀

Thank you for the positive post. I just reached 8 months and the time is flying by now. The sober journey is so with it.

I never forgot that he**. I was terrified of slipping back to it. Eventually, I dropped the fear, but I never did and never will forget it.
