I have been sober from alcohol for more than four years now, and the particular problem I am struggling with is another addictive behavior. I think the mental mechanics behind addiction are similar, and I like the community and friends I've made here - so I continue to use sober recovery as a resource. Sorry for any confusion. I know 100% that my life is better without alcohol addicton and have peace that I will never return to that.
Day 10.

Two weeks, going strong. I had some strong dreams last night connected to my family and my addiction, and they felt almost real.
Waking up and knowing I'm in a better place is a great feeling. Here's to keeping things up going forward.
