Been a bit since I've been here. Ending up drinking again. But so far I've been well. Did something that I thought I didn't need to do until this last stretch on drinking I went on. I finally went to inpatient. No push, no suggestions, I just took it upon myself to go. Got back home 8/21. Today marks a month sober. Went to a meeting yesterday. Things aren't great but there are getting there and with time I believe and have faith that they will. Gonna take a while due to legal issues with my license but its ok. It's my own fault.

So...for anyone that is on the fence with trying inpatient treatment, trust me (if you can afford it or have insurance to assist you) it's worth it. This is coming from someone that was NEVER going to go to inpatient At least for me it definitely opened my eyes up and fixed my line of thinking. Sometimes we need a complete get away from the temptation and need to be in an environment that creates structure and sober living.
