Im ok sorry about the text sat here dribking tea and water.I do not know if i can ever achieve long term sobrietytried for so long always end up going bk. Just feel that its all over for me this is how life is and i cant change
I used to feel like that too but each time you fail, you learn something. If you choose to accept this is just how it is, then that is what you will get. The choice is yours.
Repeat after me: "today is a new day and I will try again, this time with more knowledge than before. Because I am worth it". Even if you don't feel it, say it. And then say it again and again.
You came here and posted today...so there is HOPE.

Eve, don't think about long-term anything. Today is all you need to get through--even just take it a minute at a time. How do you do that? Sticking with us here is one way.
I think it showed some success that you posted here before you created chaos. Some days it's minute by minute!

Here is just one link for online AA meetings--there are literally thousands of groups with meetings online now, check in your area. This particular group is near Seattle (Pacific time, GMT -7h). There are women's meetings at 10 am (an hour from when I am posting this). You'll need to download Zoom, which just takes a few seconds.

Oh dear, Eve! I just saw on the news that there was a Zoom outage right when the women's meeting was starting. It's fixed now, and there's several meetings around noon Pacific time. I hope you give it a try!
I'm sorry I missed your post Eve. I believe that anyone can get sober and stay that way but it takes a lot of effort.
sometimes it gets down to what are we prepared to do to stop drinking and how far are we prepared to go to change?
I hope you decide to add some more things to your recovery plan - maybe more support, and using it, or maybe more changes to the way you deal with lifes problems?
I believe you can do this It's never too late to start writing your Chapter Two.
