Really want to drink
I didn’t give in! Thank you for the advice! I took a turn into Target for a little distraction and got some takeout from my favorite restaurant.
Now that I’m finally able to relax I realize how disappointed in myself I would have been if I caved. I don’t want to drink!

Thank you all for the support!
I’m so thankful I didn’t drink last night. I woke up hangover free! It’s amazing how much pain I
put my body through just to have a drink. If I drank I would have been very moody, guilty, and have a headache. Not the most ideal way to wake up. Instead I have a clear head and I feel good.

If I get any little niggles of "wanting" or"needing" a drink. I always play the tape forward
I have loads of tapes from the past. The end result was usually a blackout, following that a significant hangover and a desire to drink again in the morning put there by the first drink I decided (yep I decided to take it) the previous night
Fleeting thoughts is all they are. I read somewhere that you get thousands and thousands of thoughts every day. Up to us which ones we're gonna act upon eh
Glad the drink wasn't one for you!
