Been away a while

I've not been logging in much for a while so just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is doing.
I'm still on the sober train, day 230.
Still suffering with insomnia and depression but some good things have happened, especially getting a new job (current job caused lots of stress and anxiety) so I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Have managed to socialise with drinkers and enjoy being sober.
I've been sugar and caffeine free for 6 weeks and it's amazing how addicted I was!
I'm eating really well and nourishing my body.
So things aren't perfect but being sober is so much more preferable to how I copied before ❤️

Yes, great to hear your news. I hope the sleep comes, for me it did and now I sleep better than ever. Have you seen someone about the depression -- I know from experience thats tough even sober but so much worse if drinking. Dont be a stranger. XX

Congratulations on day 230. You're almost two thirds of the way to a full year! And congratulations on getting a new job. Hopefully the reduction in stress and anxiety that your old job was causing might help with your depression and lead to you sleeping better.

Congrats on your 230 days sober! I've been on antidepressants a long time but they did no good when I was drinking. Now that I'm sober, they work as they should, and my depression is manageable.
