Hi Mummy. Welcome back to SR. You'll get this figured out Sister. You are simply going to have to try some different things right? What is one thing you can do that would be a radical change in your thinking or your habits? Great to have you back by the way.

I have been struggling for 15 years now. I use alcohol as a coping mechanism and a way to escape boredom and loneliness. I have success avoiding booze when I'm cognizant of why I want to drink. For example, I may come here and read/post or go for a long walk when boredom/loneliness set in instead of buy beer.

I'm still trying to figure out my triggers. Feel well soon. Couple more days you should be back to normal.

Thanks, I was watching interventions on Netflix last night, there was one that really resignated with me, so I think I will keep watching that even when I feel av, at the moment couldn’t touch a drop of drink, just feel no energy and unmotivated and just yuk, picking up my dogs ashes today as well, just glad to have her back home where she belongs
