Max has 1 month!
 

I am happy to make it to one month! I feel very strong in my quit and have had very little AV activity. This last time I drank I caved twice just to give the AV what it wanted (My OCD) and now mostly silence. I do believe I will be tested still. It is not abnormal for me to get a month or 2 of sobriety. I will be starting to get into less traveled territory at 2-3 months and beyond. For now I celebrate 1 month!

That is great Max. Lately I've been trying to pay less attention to my sober time and just look at the first 54 years of my life as the drunk part and the second 54 years the sober part. Interestingly there is a peace in that thought process, at least for me. Well done on a month. Lots of healing and restoration in that 30 days.

What!?! How did this happen?! One thing is for certain Max, you have really been focusing on your own recovery and helping others as well. You're a constant fixture on the SR boards and I don't think it is just a coincidence you're enjoying an extended period of sobriety. As Snoop Dogg would say, "You gots to stay focused dog, keep yo eye on yo grip." In English, that means we have to stay diligent. Nothing is promised. Each day we are sober is a direct result of the work we put in and the change we commit to. Congratulations. Onward and upward.
