Book recommendations

Hi just starting on my road to recovery and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on books that really helped them? Know there are lists of books on here but there are sooo many. I know what helped you might not help me but it’s somewhere to start.
thanks

It's about taking your life in your own hands, deciding what you want to do with it - and then DOING it. And not letting anyone or anything stand in your way. It's also about tenacity, patience, effort and diligence.

It's very inspiring.

A really good, and fairly short, easy reading book, if you're looking for tranquility, is Thich Nhat Hanh's book called Being Peace. I love it and re read it often.

If you like logic and reason, I think about "This Naked Mind" all the time.

I would highly recommend you watch this. There are multiple parts but I believe if you start here the others will play after consecutively. Or you can look to buy the dvd. It is called "Pleasure Unwoven".

The books on the book list are compiled from our members recommendations and I think choosing any of those books would be great.
