1 week!

I reached one week! Not all that rare. Most of my attempts do but this one needs to be different. I need to celebrate sobriety like it is my life because it is!

Great job, Max!

Yes, this is the danger zone for me. Day 7. I usually can do a week just fine, then I (bleepin) blow it all up. We need to stay vigilant this weekend, for sure.

I wouldn't downplay the huge importance of One Week.

You could be still passed out on the couch, but you're deciding day by day to not be that person.

Official Congrats.

Always treat your sobriety and recovery like your life depends on it and you won’t go far wrong in my experience.

You’re underselling yourself there, Max. Not only have you held off those cravings for a week, you’ve done it in crazy weather and even crazier times! You haven’t done that before, and I’m not sure I’d be strong enough to quit in these circumstances. Give yourself a lot more credit, but think what you can do to stay quit. You did it for years previously so you’ve got the strength in there somewhere.

Awesome job Max!
Protect the sobriety that you have. Don't sell yourself short.

Big congrats. Hug your son a little bit tighter before bed tonight. You deserve it and he deserves you to keep at it.
