Glad you are feeling better now Reid.
Mags try not to worry, you would have to be incredibly unlucky to catch the virus with 6 ft between you even if he had it which is highly unlikely. I believe they are cautiously lifting the restrictions for the shielded now. I realise you have to go at your own pace. My Dad has rightly or wrongly decided to take his chances and is doing his own shopping again and travelling on the bus. Stubborn or silly I don't know but it is his choice.
Jobu is positively glowing. I wish I could wake up looking like that (glowing not a frog).
We had loads of much needed rain yesterday and the gardens, wildlife and farmers gave a brief sigh of relief.

hope everyone is doing okay. it's kind of grey here, but at least it's dry.
my idiot neighbours had a loud party until 4am - they've been doing this 2-3 times a week since lockdown started to ease.
I think I will be reporting them to the police/council today.

Andy, it must be so annoying having a party going on at the neighbours home. Give some an inch and they take a mile.

I’ve seen the news about the shielding people may be allowed out more towards end of June or July, But up to now they’re uncertain. I’m sure I’ll get my letter and phone-call. It took me a few weeks when it all began before I stopped worrying over any cough I had.
Saou, I’m ok mostly thanks. Had a few blips along the way but a lot better now I can go for a drive or walk. I think many of us have experienced cabin fever though, it’s been a strange world in the last few months. I saw some lovely photos of cities on lockdown. Completely empty, mostly. Looked eerily beautiful.

Happy Friday!
It's my birthday today. It will be a bit strange, as I will be working hard all day and will have to figure out my own little celebration for later tonight. Tomorrow the man friend and I are having a patio dinner at a restaurant along a river with his sister and brother-in-law (her birthday is Sunday) but I don't expect that to be very jovial, since man friend is still feeling very low. I understand. At my age birthdays are not that big a deal anyway. I'm turning 57!! How did THAT happen? Glad I'm still here and kicking, and being sober just makes it that much better. Grateful to have gotten myself sober and probably added many years to my life.

I hope not too, Bim. I did get a call from my mother's bank wishing me a happy birthday (I am listed on her accounts so I can do things for them when they travel). That was weird. But as for the old boyfriends, probably not!
