6 Months!!!!
Wow, time has sure passed quickly. The last 6 months have been a breath of fresh air. I've been 100% sober, more productive, had almost zero anxiety, cleaned up my diet, & started working out again. I've made some real progress and it feels fantastic. I sleep again, every single night. I've been much more proactive when dealing with this Coronavirus situation & any much less numb to the troubles of the world. I truly believe I've become a better person in this time. One thing that I do need to work at ASAP is getting involved with AA again. I haven't done much of anything since I've been isolating myself (I'm young-ish and healthy but my 73 year old mother in law lives with us). I need to call my sponsor today and I'd like to attend the 5:30 online meeting to celebrate my milestone.
Way to go!

Thanks everyone! My club has unfortunately stopped doing the club Zoom meetings but they are still doing online meetings for folks in house. I called my sponsor (he was worried as I hadn't talked to him in over a month, I simply didn't notice the time flying by so quickly with everything that is going on in the US) but he was very happy to hear my good news. I do need to kick myself in the butt and at least attend a few of these Zoom meetings/week and resume reading Ch. 9 of the big book. I also have some Grapevine mags that I need to read also. I've just felt on auto-pilot as far as staying sober but I do notice some of the positive changes in WHO I am starting to slip a little. That's why I like AA, it doesn't just teach you how to get sober but how to live a better and happier life in general.

6 months is awesome. Congrats. 
I remember how that feels. I was in the best shape of my life!
Congrats again on a job well done! Be extra cautious though... Around the 6 month milestone thoughts started creeping up on me telling me I was exaggerating all of this... I can drink like a gentleman. Maybe I'm not an alcoholic?
