Checking in to well, just check in.
Life is still going good day by day.
There is the occasional random thought of “hey a beer...blah blah” but the AV gets kicked to the curb followed by a Oreo treat and a shot of water for me. I then move on.
I have the also have the random thoughts of what I've cause in my past and what I've lost because I chose to drink. I can't change the past but only work on today.
I try not to stress about **** like I used to and I believe it's working.

Another benefit from stopping was, I started to work on the lawn like I used to which provided some physical activity early on and still does EVEY two days when it needs mowed. Then all the compliments from complete strangers on how well it looks and jealous they are doesn't hurt the old ego.
