Lovely pictures Kaily. And another lovely day too. Though it's forecast to change from tomorrow with a sudden drop in temperatures with Monday being particuarly cold all over the UK. In fact, on BBC1 this morning they were forecasting some snow in parts of Scotland tomorrow evening.

Congratulations on year sober from me too Reid!
Robbie, thanks, they certainly add to the VE Day atmosphere.
Kaily. I love your photos, looks like walking there can lift anyone’s mood up.
Hi CK, yes it’s never too late to join in.

Sorry I missed that Reid, congratulations, a year is a massive milestone.
Thanks Andy the antihistamine sorted it out but also knocked me out after my walk. Dream't I was in rehab with Bim for some reason.

Rehab with Bim sounds good, Ms Kaily. Anything to get out of this isolation.
I've been listening to "That Anxiety Guy" on YouTube, he has an 8-part series with a lady friend of his from Majorca and they sort of go through Claire Weeks' landmark classic about anxiety, "Hope and Help for Your Nerves." I'm not sure how much I've learned, but it's good to get back to basics about it, and having someone talking (other than canned TV shows) is good.

Lovely park.
It's supposed to be in the 80s today, I probably should go walk NOW! (It's 7AM here.)
Yay, Robbie, you figured out the images.

Hi, weekenders.
Luckily I've been busy from 5 a.m. today - got a gig yesterday and had to finish it today.
Then grocery shopping, jogging, taking care of some chores, reading.
From recently the V day evokes repulsion in me.
Actually it had been accumulated for a while - with all due respect to the memory of the day, but my tolerance to holidays in general is wearing out in me. Too much "shoulds" and spiking feeling of inadequacy for those who don't spend holidays they are supposed to be spent.
But the "pinnacle" happened last year when the guy I was dating for about half a year made quite a ugly scene when he got to know that I am older that he.
I think it wasn't until a couple months ago that i recovered from that emotional bruise.
Now I am learning to have "nostalgia for the future" - longing for all the awesome things which are in store for me. Thank you, the past, very much. I will see you around...some day. But now I don't have attention for the things which pull me down.
And my first "gift from the future" just arrived.
If I believed in Xmas, I would say that it came early.
UFC is back this weekend!
And not just UFC. One of my fav fighters is back after almost 4 years - Dominick Cruz!
I honestly lost hope to ever see him again in the octagon.
Time to create some new memories.
Ok. TIme to workout.
Have a great day, weekenders.
Stay safe.

The previous two sentences are not entirely unrelated.
I don't think those penguins would be very good at social distancing somehow
As a tiresome and annoying pedant it is my duty to point out that Reid has already done 365 days as 2020 is a Leap Year. I don't get invited to parties even when we're not all socially distancing.

So it's official then. Happy One Year, Reid.
Cutest little penguin...
Lmao Sao. the 10th is the 10th. There is a leap year every four years.....so.......
Anyway......I am the most pedantic of them all, daughter of Scottish Jewess. Seriously, my mother taught pedantics in her spare time just about, and it is my duty to take over.
And I am just playing.....busy crazy day and I haven't even eaten yet.
I do however have more plants.
Who ordered all of these I ask you?

I have a feeling a lot of alcoholics (or humans?) just want to be right, want to be perfect and want to have the last word.
who? Moi?
