Can someone give me current instructions for how to attach a picture please? I was thinking about a perfect one I have for the FOMO genre.

Click on "Go Advanced", then click the paper clip icon to choose your desired file from your PC. Be aware, however, the file has to be pretty small for SR. You can still upload a large enough photo if you can lower the resolution and size, and it will look fine. Many free graphics editors can cure that.

Morning WeekendersÂ

 Great photos and video clips.

Bim hopefully the flea had just hitched a ride from the grass.

I’ve downloaded some printable VE Day Flags and strung them together on the front window. They look ok.

Mr. Mags took some pics of the moon on Tuesday I think it was through our little telescope.

Morning all. Happy VE day.

I love reading about these types of historic events. Loved an article that described some of the German radio traffic intercepted by Blechley Park in the final days, and one in particular in which some German soldier was asking if anyone had any cigarettes, and the reply was "no cigarettes here".

A factor that seems to be common among those returning from military service is a nice little alcohol dependency. Hopefully this is something that can be more effectively addressed through awareness and counseling, or whatever.

Cool moon pictures.

Weather is lovely here, nearly 20C today now and I have shorts and t shirt on! (anyone that knows me, I'm a shirt/pants/sports jacket type of guy).

I just bought a new desk for my Destop PC set up and had to put it together. I'm still waiting on my new PC, hopefully within the next 2 weeks, I've modified some of the specs and price is gone up to €2,150 now! But that's ok. Day 364 of being sober.

Those extra dollars from not drinking turn into some good things. A new computer and desk sounds great, Reid.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Nature never disappoints!

This is adjacent to a winery, where they have a lot of summertime big-name music concerts. Don't think there will be any concerts this year, though.

Nice picture biminiblue. Where is that place? And yes, you're right about saving money now to spend it on more worthwhile things

Happy Friday everyone! Here is hoping that we will all get through the weekend unscathed.
Nice moon photos, Mags. Here is a sort of interesting one I took in December 2018 at 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

Lovely pic Bim, I’ll be singing that song in my head all day now.

Captain, I’ve seen the moon out in the day, great photo.Â

Reid, nice on getting a new desk and computer. Amazing how much we save when we don’t drink.

I have an app that shows me how much money I have saved. I hadn't looked at it in a while, but out of curiosity I just checked. 5 years, 5 months and 4 days sober. Money saved, $29,730!! Maybe more. I think I may have underestimated when I set this up years ago.

Nice pics everyone.

Lots of street parties going on in my local neighbourhood (socially distanced of course). Walking past smelt like a beer garden and my av had a little jiggle so did my lonely monster. I'm okay till I see how different life could be.

Never mind cream cake for me tonight.

Great pics!

Nearing a year Reid!

I needed to go food shopping and decided to drive - I don't normally as it's to much aggravation in London but it had been standing a while and needed some minimal use. Anyway, someone who had obviously gotten used to there not being much traffic stepped out in front of me and I only just stopped in time. Fortunately there was nothing behind me It would be sadly ironic to be wearing a mask and get run over.

That did make me laugh. Gallows humour.

Evening everyone. It's been another lovely day here in the north east of England. VE Day too and although most planned street parties etc were cancelled my street did have a socially distancing street party. A large table was put out on the open grass space between the houses and people took turns taking food over. Then once 3pm arrived people then took turns going over to take some food. Some houses had bunting hanging up outside.

Not as elaborate as one of the houses in my town. I took these photos from the Facebook page for my town. It's quite an elaborate way to decorate the garden!
(photos to appear in a moment as I'm having problems posting them)
