I'm just basically tired from not sleeping due to drinking too much. I dumped out what wine I had left this morning and put it in the garbage.

Great that you took the first step of dumping your stash, sobermafia. Give yourself major credit for that. Yes, we all blame ourselves for our missteps, but feeling disgusted with yourself is not going to keep you sober in the long run.
Get some rest, and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
Do you have a plan, or have plans to make plans, for how to maintain sobriety now? One day at a time, of course, but developing some specific strategies for countering the next urge to use is key.
Welcome back aboard the sober train, sm. You too, ff.

Way to go on pouring out the stash. I dumped about 4 liters of hard stuff when I decided I was a non drinker.
My wife still has a few bottles of wine in the kitchen and there are times when I think about them. I had a 2 bottles of Ever Clear in the garage that I bought to make sanitizer.
A couple of weeks ago laced them with Aloevera Gel. I won't be drinking them now. They look green and slimy.
Thanks.

Definitely don't have all the answers. Just trying to make it through today and start from there.

You’re going to do great. I’m very new on the forum and at 47 days so my day one is still very fresh in my mind. Be proud of the decision to move forward. No sense in looking back or beating yourself up. I look forward to following your success.Â
