Got arrested for being extremely drunk and put in a cell for a few hours
Then ended up in the psych ward.
Not the first time either of things have happened but this has to be the last time
I have everything to gain from quitting and nothing to lose
Just out of the psych ward. It's day 5 now. My last day 5

I'm sorry that happened to you, but if it is the impetus it takes for you to turn things around, then it won't be for naught. What is your plan?

Sounds like an awful and scary experience- use the tools here and like you said, this can be the last ever time this has to happen to you.

The **** we do and say drunk and high. How I never ended up temporarily committed is one of life's enduring mysteries.
I'm glad you made it out the other side FF. Stay out here with us please. For most of us, the physical reasons to be sober are very apparent. But we too soon forget the cognitive and behavioral reasons. We lose our friggin minds when we use. That is all you need to know going forward.
