Last night

Last night I hadÂÂ the police visit. The week before I fell over so badly couldn’t walk for a few weeks. Before that I got a smashed my head got a black eye should have died.ÂÂ
Alcoholism isn’t fun anymore.ÂÂ

Re: Last night

No, its really not Wood and it gets worse.
You can stop its progress tho - anytime you like.
Why not post here every day, and a few online AA (or SMART) meetings.

Start putting effort into your recovery not your alcoholism?

I totally understand this. These days if you have a computer, you have support. There's online meetings, forums, numbers and everything.

Re: Last night

It's not only not fun, it can be dangerous also, to you and others. I got sober over 10 yrs ago and never once have I woken up and wished I had drank the night before.

Re: Last night

The fun was gone out of my drinking a long time ago- that still didn't make me stop for a good while after though. I wish I had stopped earlier though, would have saved me a lot of trouble. Good luck with this.

The more you drink the worse the consequences will be, Wood.
The screw it phase is a addiction fueled myth.
You have the power to reach out for help. You have the power to say no more.

Let go or be dragged, man.
Why not drop in on an AA meeting today?
