I don't know what to do? I always had the stability of my job before. After over a decade at a company I grew the balls to move. I was head hunted by two companies. Went with my heart and took the one with no weekends, I like time in my camper
A mth later I'm made redundant and they wont give me furlough. I've always been do independent so not working is horrible. I've been doing community volunteering the past few weeks.
Problem now is I've been so depressed and drinking and smoking so much I've got a horrible cough so cant even go out and make myself useful.
This is making me feel worse 🥺
There are families out there losing loved ones,, sometimes multiple.
What right do I have to be sad about losing a job. I need to get a grip again.
last time I had a home detox but wouldn't even ask that of the NHS right now.

The guilt we feel is so enormous….like you saying your drinking and smoking so much your coughing don't feel well and can't help as much....Don't beat yourself up...do what you can to detox safely....and don't worry about what NHS needs...worry about what you need...if you can get well..."the job will come"...If you can not get well....more fear comes along with that.
